Elysium Business Centre can assist you with closing a company (voluntary strike off), provided that the assets and liabilities of the company are both nil and all annual returns are up to date. The process takes approximately 3 months, and involves correspondence with relevant Government departments.
The process requires that all annual returns are up to date. In the first instance we will contact the Revenue Commissioners and request that the company is struck off the register. We prepare all supporting documentation and a Statement of Ceased Trading or a statement verifying that the company has never traded. We advertise the strike off in a national newspaper. Once these steps have been completed we send the final documentation to the Companies Registrations Office.
All documents required to close a company are prepared for signing and sent to you prior to the process commencing. The cost of this strike off process includes newspaper advertising. Any outstanding fees with the Companies Registrations Office will need to be paid.
Please Note: Our voluntary strike off procedure to close a company is specifically for companies who have not traded or have no assets. All annual returns must be up to date before the process can begin.
